From the survey we took this last week about love, murder, revenge, and family, pick one of the questions and expand on it in your own opinion. If you can't remember a question, you can go back to the survey located on my teacher webpage and find the question. You do not need to take the survey again, just find the question you'd like to expand on in your writing.
For example: Is murder ever justified? (And then I'd respond in detail why or why not I think so)

I believe there most important part of living is to create relationships. Both family and friends. It's crazy to think that 12 out of every 100,000 people take their own lives because they felt lonely in this world and didn't see their meaning in life. It's important to have that backbone support system to be able to lean back on when you feel bad about yourself. Let's face it, life is hard but it is much easier when you have things and people you care about. Life is worth fighting for.
ReplyDeleteIs true love possible? I believe that everything happens for a reason. So if someone finds their true love, it would happen by fait. I do believe that true love is possible because everybody deserves to get the chance to experience what true love is like. I have seen many people that have found their true love. It is possible.
ReplyDeleteLove at first sight? Sounds more like past myth than the topic of the future. In today's age i personally think that there is no such thing as love at first sight. With problems of today's common society with things such as drug abuse and is love at first sight just a judgement in the way people look. All of our lives we are told to not judge a book by its cover but i think that the idea of love at first sight is just a process of who looks the best. Maybe its possible but i dont believe it is rare and something to be truly valued. -matt sticka is awesome... he truly is!
ReplyDeleteIs true love possible? I think that true can be possible. If find the right person then it is for you. For others they might think that true love is not possible. If you have faith for that person and they do the same for you then it will work out perfectly. If that doesn't happen then true love is not possible. It all depends.
ReplyDeleteWhen is murder justified? The only time murder is justified is for self defense. You're not just going to let the other person kill you, so you would fight back and kill them. In any other situation murder is still murder, and not okay. Also, if someone else is in danger of being murdered by someone, it would be justified if you saved them by killing the "bad guy" because it's still in the defense of someone. Those are the only times murder is justified.

ReplyDeleteYes, I believe true love is possible, though many don't I do. True love is one of the greatest gifts humans were given. True love I'm told is one of the greatest feelings you will ever feel, its when your heart-aches for that person all the time. It can happen to anyone at anytime, although people think its just movie crap that can't happen to anyone in real life, it can. A couple in Connecticut is celebrating their 81st wedding Anniversary this month, and say they still fall in love all over again every time they look at each other. That is true love. So yes, true love is definitely very possible.

DeleteDo you believe our lives are ruled by destiny or fate? This question has always puzzled me. On one hand, I believe that people make their own decisions through life based on their own consciousness, but on the other I believe some people are destined to do some things, no matter how they get there. But in the end, I would have to say that people are free to make their own decisions and choices, and live how they want to.
ReplyDeleteLove at first sight? To me, love at first sight is nothing but a myth or a thought passed down by movies or generations. I don't believe in love at first sight becuase it's impossible to know what that person is like or if you have anything in common with them. You might be attracted to their looks but that isn't loving someone, loving someone is loving them for who they are and for the momets you have shared together, not what they look like.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the most important part of living? I think family is the most important because I think with your family, comes everything else. Love, Relationships, Religion, Education, Friendships, and Honor/Dignity. Religion is mostly inherited, Education (ex. college) is mostly paid for by your family, and I don't know about anyone else but alot of my self esteem comes from my family because I know they will always be the ones to tell me the truth and they won't hold back. Relationships don't come from family but my family's opinion on my relationships mean a lot to me, although it wouldn't make me break up with someone if they didn't like them, usually if they see a big flaw in that person, usually so do I.
ReplyDeleteDo you believe in destiny or fate? Rule is difficult way to describe how our lives are directed. Every event in our lives is completely determined by coincidence. There is no outer force to decide what happens, and everything is completely determined by when and where a person is at any time. No one has any control over anything that will happen to them.
ReplyDeleteHow important is your family's "blessing" about someone you date? My family's "blessing" will always be important and I will always take it into consideration but when it comes to the topic of dating; I think that if the person I'm chosing to be with makes me happy then I think that they should let me be happy. But I am jaded when it comes to this because I have never been in a situation like that before. The input of one's family should always be relevant but not necessarily the deciding factor in a relationship. How the relationship plays out is not up to the family so I don't think they really can judge it before they have seen the whole picture.
ReplyDeleteCan there ever be love at first sight? Ask yourself if you know anything about the person at all, then answer. If you think that you are in love just by looking at the person you have another thing coming. All you are basing it on is their looks. If you do get to know them and you do fall in love it is just a coincidence. If you think you are in love then get to know the person first.

ReplyDeleteCan there ever be love at first sight??? I think that it is possible to have love at first sight but you are only attracted to the physical characteristics. I think that to truly have love at first sight you must know the personality of the person you are falling in love with. But no one really knows the definition of "true love" so love at first sight can mean anything.
